fact a VFR flyer's dream and sports some of the most enjoyable terrain
to fly over in the simulator. Crammed full of small airfields and with
a very diverse geography, you'll experience rainforests, the outback,

and countless islands to explore, all with that typical Queensland look

Melbourne's Avalon Airport is the home of the world famous Avalon Airshow and also the base for Qantas training and maintenance, and a domestic passenger hub for budget carrier JetStar. Orbx has faithfully recreated the entire airport and surrounds using 60cm/pixel source imagery and hand-crafted gmax models.

FTX AU YMML is the

experience. YMML features over 40km sq. of surrounding photoreal

GMAX modeling and texturing made from thousands of photos taken at the

YWVA WARNERVALE AIRPORT - Version 1.0 - AU BLUE REGION
Orbx FTX Warnervale Airport is the first in Orbx's series of smaller GA airfields for FSX with lots of character. Nestled in bushland just off the Pacific Highway on the Central Coast of New South Wales, this airfield provides a perfect hub for VFR flights north of Sydney and up to Coffs Harbour.
We're excited to announce that is the launch airport designed for Orbx by renowned FS developer Andreas Hegi, who is famous for his attention to detail. This airport and its surrounds have been completely custom Gmax modeled in painstaking detail from photos provided by actual pilots who use the airfield regularly. Co-developed by Andreas Hegi, Holger Sandmann and John Venema, this airport includes not only the airfield itself, but the entire circuit area and all VFR nav waypoints contained in over 57 square kilometres of photoreal terrain using 60cm, 30cm and 15cm aerial photography. For the VFR simmer who loves to be immersed in their surroundings, this addon is about as close to reality as is possible in FSX. It's another visual tour de force which will be a must-have in your GA airports collection!

Jandakot
is one of Australia's busiest regional airports in terms of flight
movements, and the Orbx version has been faithfully reproduced down to
the last gable marker. Made using 25cm/pixel licensed aerial
photography from the Western Australian government, and superbly
modeled airport buildings made using photos taken on-site, this airport
will be a delight to use as your hub for your western GA flights.
The scenery includes all major VFR approach and circuit waypoints and encompasses well over 50sq. kilometres of photoreal scenery with seasonal variations and night lighting. The airport also includes accurate custom GA AI aircraft with custom paints and flight plans. Jandakot is the culmination of over two years of development by Jarrad Marshall and more recently in collaboration with the Orbx team.
Additionally, YPJT is the home of the donor aircraft of the now-famous VH-SOM Carenado Mooney HD VC and Repaint and the VH-RWY Carenado C152 HD repaint and VC, both available from the freeware section of this site.

The sister airport to YWVA Warnervale, Aeropelican is made by the same team of Andreas Hegi and John Venema and perfectly times the re-opening of YPEC in June 2009. This is a monster scenery area, covering well over 100 km in superb licensed 60cm, 30cm and 15cm imagery with precision modeling you're come to expect from Andreas and includes a major power station, the now disused YCOB airfield, a major stretch of beautiful coastlines, Milano's marina and restaurant and many more 'little' details which Orbx is famous for. You will love YPEC!
Heiko Glatthorn (a.k.a. Mango) second airport for Orbx will be one of the most beautiful regional airports you will enjoy in FSX. Combined with Orbx's new licensed orthoimagery now available in 15cm and 60cm resolution, this airport will include superbly modeled airport buildings, the nearby industrial estate and also a large area of the township, waterways and marina.
